Army Wives

The episode of Army Wives was pretty good this week. It started out with Roxy & Pamela together, hanging out as usual, and the dreaded black notification car slowly comes cruising down the street. As it rolled down everybody (including the kids) stopped everything immediately. Thank God that they were not there to notify Pamela about something happening to Chase!

The episode then transitioned to Claudia Joy & Micheal. This is the first time they are shown dealing with the changes of Claudia Joy's diabetes, & it seems like Micheal isn't handling it too well. He definitely needs to learn to give her some space.

Trevor seems to be taking his new recruiting job well...even though his trainer/partner seems to be somewhat of a butt. I'm so glad he got this job it adds a little something different to the show...allows us to see that the army is not all about wars & violence.

Roland & Joan's relationship is sooooo cute! I'm so happy that they worked out all of thier issues that they had in the last season. The show wouldn't be complete without them together. Roland's efforts to spoil & show Joan all that love before she deploys is really paying off If I was her I might just have to change my mind and accept Gen. Holden's offer to stay on base (cross your fingers that she does!) After making an offer to take Joan to the beach for a night (Joan declined) Roland makes it his personal mission to make the beach come to her.
The night starts out perfectly...and then takes a turn for the worst. Those delicious oysters that were served made the night sour...and caused the scene to end with Joan & Roland running up the stairs to the bathroom!

After that funny bit with Roland & Joan, the mood of the episode takes a turn. Claudia Joy snaps at Emilyn for trying to be helpful by removing all of the unhealthy food from the house. I hope Emilyn doesn't take her mom's moods the wrong way and go back to her old teenage pain ways.

As for Denise and Frank...all is well...they are back to the lovey-dovey couple they used to be in the first season before Denise's "mid-life crisis." But Denise finds out about Claudia Joy's little secret...and tries to talk some sense into her. I hope it works, because I don't think I can take whining from Claudia joy about her diabetes for the rest of the season.

The episode finally comes to a close with Pamela & Roxy going to the Special Ops Compound after finding out that Chase's unit was back and that he had possibly been injured. Pamela makes the decision to camp out at the compound until they let her see Chase, and Roxy volunteers to babysit the kids. After falling asleep in the waiting area, the door guy finally wakes her up and leads her down a dramatic walk to Chase's room. She then opens the door, opens her mouth wide, and then.....

Well I guess we'll have to see what happens next week!

ABDC: Bollywood Challenge

So here are a few thoughts about tonight's episode of ABDC:

About the judges:
-Lil' Mama...that hair boo...has got to go...either she needs a new stylist or just a new style because it seems like all of the hairstyles she has had this season have been VERY unflattering. I still don't understand what qualifies her to be a judge on this show...I mean having "poppin' lip gloss" does not make give you the ability to provide accurate judgment to these "crews." Also...her little Spanish or whatever kind of language she was trying to speak while critiquing Rhythm City should have been bleeped from the show...it was so stupid...

-Shane Sparks...I wish you would have stayed on So You Think You Can Dance.

- JC...needs to stop being a hater...a lot of his points are valid...but his word choice makes him sound like he's hating...and that's getting old.

Now on to the crews ...
Massive Monkeys:
Well I think the routine was good overall...but kind of sloppy. The tricks were cool (especially the ending pose) I hope these guys stay in the competition for a little while longer...but it wouldn't hurt my feelings if they were sent home.

Vogue Evolution:
I love....Love...LOVE this group! The performance was good...I think it could have been a lot better (based on their past performances) I hope Leyomi gets it together because her (his) feelings about what went on before the performance definitely shown in the performace...The scarves definitely helped capture the "Bollywood effect" so good choice...um...ladies (I guess)...keep Workin' it!

Rhythm City:
Wow...Rhythm City definitely BROUGHT IT tonight. They did this song a lot more justice than the cast of Slumdog Millionaire did...lol. I loved the part where they took their shoes off...and also how they added their own touch to it. Good job :-)

Afro Bodique:
Yawn...this was like the most basic choreography that I have ever seen on this show. I expected a lot more from them tonight at this stage of the game. Not to much to say about these guys this week because there was really nothing memorable. So step it up next week (if ya'll are still in the competition.)

We Are Heroes:
These girls were the bomb-dot-com...props to the injured girl (forgot her name) she did really well considering the torn back ligament. The choreography was good and met the challenge. I hope these girls are in the final 3...because when all of them are on their game...the performance is always FIRE! Please don't send them home!

Beat Ya Feet Kings:
They guys did really good in this performance...as for the girl...not so much. She definitely needs to get her act together because it was SLOPPY. I like the lil' jump rope lift looking thing that they did at the beginning...it was cool...but I don't think that they are "super crew" material. So glad they went home!

Until next week!...

Can't Wait 'til the Fall Season Premieres!

So guys...only a few more weeks until the fall season premieres start & I am getting excited. I have been losing my mind without the weekly episodes of House, Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice & Bones...(my ultimate faves.) Check out this website (http://tvdonewright.com/2009-2010-season-schedule/fall-season-premiere-dates/) if you are interested in knowing when your favorite show airs.

But until then...we'll keep blogging about the end of the summer seasons
